What is a good shampoo to use on your dog that stays outside?

I want to give him a shampoo that keeps ticks, fleas, mosquitos away. And also that is good for his coat. What is a good shampoo to use on your dog that stays outside?
Go buy Frontline or another brand that will keep the fleas, ticks and mosquitoes away. It will work much better than a bath. You apply it once a month!!! Ticks are really bad this year!!What is a good shampoo to use on your dog that stays outside?
Hartz! This shampoo is made for short hair, long hair, inside, and outside dogs. You can also use this shampoo for your cats, horses, and (believe it or not) you can use it on your own hair. It helps kill and prevent lice.
You need more than a shampoo.

Use a flea repelent - you can get them from supermarkets and they give protection for a month.

Also, give him some garlic in his dinner, it does wonders for keeping away fleas, even if he does get bad breath.
To keep those pests from your dog, the best thing would be to allow him inside - at least at night.

Besides, dogs are pack animals, they want to be with their pack, ( you ), they long for your presence. Nothing better for them than to lie at your feet and adore you.
A shampoo will not repel them. You need to use a preventative. You can get them from the vet (different ones are recommended in different areas of the country) and you apply it monthly at the bese of his neck.
One: If he's under one years old, use a dog and puppy shampoo. But if he's one and up, go ahead and use dog shampoo.

You want an anti-flea and tick shampoo with oatmeal. Get one that smells pretty strong too (not bad per se, but just strong). And every time you wash him make sure to scrub it in really well, and rinse really well. I'd recommend a good brush afterwords (Although as an outside dog, a good daily or twice a day brush would be good too).
Dawn dishwashing liquid will actually help! It may not be enough though, you might have to ask the vet.
