Whenever I shampoo my hair in the shower I use a lot and get it all lathered up and bunch it all ontop of my head and rub my hands in circular motions. Then I rinse it and it gets really tangled. I have thick hair so I use a lot of shampoo. I'm wondering will shampoo do the same thing if I use it like conditioner? By just running it through hmy hair without lathering it all up?How do I use shampoo without getting my hair tangled?
brush your hair before you get in the shower and still clean your hair in circular motions but after run ur fingers through it quickly and then condition. after you get out of the shower brush your hair immedaitely. this routine almost always works for me should you should be good. How do I use shampoo without getting my hair tangled?
when i take a shower i have a brush in my shower, and i brush my hair while the shampoo and conditor is in. I get out of the shower and my hair is silky smooth and no tangles!!
aight i hoped i helped
*stay classy*
i also have very thick hair try a shampoo for kids with a detangler in it or they also make sprays with detangler in it that you use when hair is dry don't use alot of shampoo more doesn't clean better than less
yeah, the difference is conditioner, its time to start using it, i had that problem, bought conditioner, and never had that problem again!!! plus it makes your hair alot softer.
dont pile it on top of your hair, it will get it tangled. and use both shampoo and conditioner, the shampoo cleans the the conditioner detangles
i think while your washing your hair try combing it with your fingers and it will help
use your shampoo like you always do, but afterward use a conditoner and that way it will untangle itself.
you could use selson salon or loreal they both work but i would prefer loreal 'cause it works really really good. when you get out of the shower don't dry it at all, just put a towel under it and brush really easy while your blow drying it. well good luck finding a solution!!!!!
first of all, what kind of shampoo are you using?? the best kind to get is a salon kind, not a store bought kind, because those really will get your hair tangled(believe me, been there done that) i'd advise using Redkin, amazing shampoo and conditioner, its pricey but worth it in the end.
same problems here
i use herbal essences and then in the shower
i use a brush before i wash it and after [while in the shower]
i aslo use paulmitchell leave in conditioner after i get out
why don you try it!!
brush your hair prior to shampooing trust me it works.
i posed this very question to my stylist the other week (because it happened to me too) and this is what she said/recommended:
stop wetting my hair before applying shampoo....
apparently hair absorbs 80% of the moisture from the water prior to shampooing... which is why the application of shampoo will dry your hair out prior to the end of the shower (hense tangling).
instead, splash enough water on your hair to get a good lather started... then work the lather through the rest of your dry hair.
essentially -- dry shampooing
you should do this for two weeks and your hair should have a radically different feel after showering/shampooing.
in the beginning, feel free to use a detangler INSTEAD of a conditioner in order to work out any tangles. this is because your hair is still reacting to its previous treatment and needs time to adjust to its new routine. secondly, the application of conditioner merely to relieve hair of its tangles may over-condition your hair/scalp.
good luck to you! =)
