I also want to know whats the best shampoo and conditioner that is good for black people but also can make your hair stronger, healthier, softer, and makes your hair grow long. And the shampoo/conditoner for white people (Dont mean to be a races) because i just want to know what they use. What is the best shampoo/conditioner for black and white ppl?
just so you know, we all have the same hair regardless of race. black people just have thicker, coarser, hair, but the ingredients are the same. In beauty school, we use the same products. Not all black people have the same hair and neither do all white people. It depends on if you have oily, dry, chemical damage, color, breakage, relaxer.... every person is different so it is impossible to say that all black people should use this and all white people should use this. I would say as a whole we should all use something with some moisture because of environmental stresses and a good conditioner. If you have an oily scalp, a tea tree shampoo would be good, it's also good for dandruff. There are some olive oil lines good for dry hair. Price also varies, so depending on what you can afford, there are different products. What is the best shampoo/conditioner for black and white ppl?
It's really not about your race, it's more a matter of hair type. I'm white- I mean REALLY WHITE. And I use Mizani products. That's what I reccommend for textured (black) hair. I have extremely curly hair, so it works for me. When it comes to fine (white) hair, there's alot of options- I like Matrix and Biolage. Or Tresemme if you're on a budget. Try Mizani- I think you'll like it.
I have found some good tips in following link, It may be good for you too

What is the best shampoo for a natural blonde with natural highlites? Anyone have any ideas?
I am a natural blonde, and have natural multi-colored highlites. I am wondering if anyone knows of any innexpensive shampoos and conditioners which will bring out my highlites and keep my hair really soft and shiny. Any thoughts? I have tried both Suave 'Blonde' shampoo, and a little of Pantene's 'Blonde' shampoo. Are those good, of is there something much better? Please give me ideas. Thank you! %26lt;3What is the best shampoo for a natural blonde with natural highlites? Anyone have any ideas?

What is the best shampoo or conditioner for shiny, straight hair?
I have really dark brown hair that is just above my elbow, and I need to know the best shampoo, conditioner, or other hair product that will give me really shiny and straight hair! Thank you so much for your help! What is the best shampoo or conditioner for shiny, straight hair?
pantene ultra straight shampoo......that's what i use...and for conditioner i use tresseme......leave it in until ur done wahing ur body, shaving, washing ur face and then wash it out!! so smooth every time!!What is the best shampoo or conditioner for shiny, straight hair?
One time, I was at a friend's and took a shower there so I had to use whatever she had. It happened to be just some simple bottles of Garnier Nutriesse Shampoo and Conditioner. I have straight but frizzy hair, so I straightened it when it was just about dry, and my hair looked fabulous. I've always been searching for the right hair products thinking I had to pay money for my hair to look good, and I had no idea what simple shampoo and conditioner would actually work. I've used it ever since, but then again it also depends on how your own hair works and reacts to certain products.
ganier fructis has a line called sleek and shine i think it works well for the price its no 1 dollar a bottle but i think its like 2.?? so ya.but sometimes its not the shampoo and the conditioner they sell diffrent products as well that make your hair straight they actually have this spray that u just spray on your hair when your done with it and it shines a little
i agree with the first one too--pantene pro-v always smooth is really good. i also like redken smooth down. find something with beeswax in it.
i like herbal essences ';dangerously straight'; conditioner and Sunsilk ';therma shine'; shampoo. Using them both together makes my hair so shiny and easier to straighten

What is the best shampoo for dry hair with lots of build up?
My hair is really oily, dry, and has so much buid up. What is the best shampoo that will make my hair smooth and shiny? What is the best shampoo for dry hair with lots of build up?
ok spelling is rough so bare with me, garnier fruitrees. for department store shampoo and Paul mitchell tea tree oil or catwalk honey and oatmeal in salons, i had the exact same problem, garnier will get the job done but will not be as shiny or silky as catwalk. paul mitchell is really good for build up, maybe use paul mitchell tea tree oil like on weekends to get rid of build up and then catwalk on a regular basis, good luckWhat is the best shampoo for dry hair with lots of build up?
Dove has a great shampoo called ';Beautifully Clean.'; It cleans your hair without stripping it's natural moisurizers and proteins.
I don't personally use it because I have somewhat dry hair, but I have friends who use it, and they love it.

What is the best shampoo & conditioner to prevent hair loss?
Does it matter what kind of hair you have? I have long black hair, what would be a good shampoo %26amp; conditioner for my hair? What is the best shampoo %26amp; conditioner to prevent hair loss?
I believe that Garnier Fructis Sleek Shine combined with a conditioner by suave is the best. I have never lost a single strand of hair other than when they are individually plucked out like any normal person. What is the best shampoo %26amp; conditioner to prevent hair loss?
Progaine shampoo and conditioner.......I have to protect my hair, which is to the long side......I've noticed little hair loss with each shampoo, and seems like it thickens hair....... :-)
Just do not use dandruf shampo it WILL make you lose hair
I've used this for a few years now. I try using suave or vo5 or stuff like that now and I can't stand it. This helps your scalp heal itself (and leaves your hair much nicer looking afterward).
PS. No I was not paid to plug this. Just hope this answers your question.

What is the best shampoo to use for oily hair?
I have really oily hair, and when I find a good shampoo every now and then, within two months of using it my hair is back to oily again. Is there a shampoo you'd recommend for someone with really oily hair that still won't at the same time dry your hair out? What is the best shampoo to use for oily hair?
Suave not so good it leaves your hair really dry... try 'Pantene' shampoo and conditioner always use conditioner... or if your willing to spend a little more money go to a specialty shampoo store (google it) and buy a green tea shampoo its perfect for oily hair and it leaves your hair really soft and really really shinyWhat is the best shampoo to use for oily hair?
Your hair may be becoming oily because you wash your hair too often. These oils are essential for your hair. When you wash your hair too often, the oils are removed. Your scalp produces more than before to make up for the oils you wash away, and your hair becomes oily.
Try using a homemade shampoo.
1 tablespoon of cider vinegar in a cup of room temperature water.
When your hair is shampooed, pour it in your hair (it won't smell after, promise!).
Rinse and condition, concentrating on the hair, not scalp.
If you don't have time to do that, use baby powder on your roots until it's distributed evenly.
OK i just tried the aussie sydney smooth shampoo a few days ago (2) and havn't washed my hair again since. Since then, 2 days ago, i used tresemme heat protectant, hairspray, and some mousse. Too much product build-up adds oil right? NOPE. my hair is still oil-free and softer then EVER and very silky and its day 3. ((((I'm gonna shampoo tomorrow im not an un-clean person. I showered, just not shampooed))))))).
It's really good. The aussie cleanse and mend shampoo would work even better! I love it, especially if ur the lazy kind like me lol. It keeps my hair soft shiny durable not-dammaged and oil-free (used it for a few weeks now.)
I'd recommend blowdrying your hair after you wash it, %26amp; use a thermal protection spray before hand. If that's not enough straighten your hair a few times a week (or more if you need to) and also use a thermal protection spray before hand.
Any type of Suave shampoo works.
Ask your hair stylist. He/she will know what's good for your hair.

Biosilk helps lots with silkiness and smoothness. But my favorite moisturizing shampoos are Matrix: Biolage, Bed Head, and Dove. You can just buy moisturzing shampoo and buy Biosilk Silk Therapy. Silk Therapy works WONDERS. It ranges 10-13 dollars and it's totally work its price.
after the second wash with NW Scents i can get a comb through my natural hair easier than i could when my hair was relaxed. Its kind of pricey but evens out when i'm not breaking my hair brushes :)

What is the best shampoo to use on professional hair dye?
I went to my beauty salon recently to get my hair dyed purple. I had asked the lady at the salon if I have to wait a certain number of days after washing my hair and she said no. It鈥檚 has already became red from the shampoo in my showers but it still looks good but I need to find out what shampoo I should use that will not harm my hair dye one bit鈥?br>
I was using Kirkland signature when I discovered the problem and my mom suggested Helene Curtis Thermasilk but even that still does the same problem鈥?
Any suggestions? What is the best shampoo to use on professional hair dye?
your hair stylest didn't wash all the dye out then
if color came out
i use REDKEN
its not for balding haha
which everyone thinks lol
but it doesn't take the color out
PLUS if you use cheep shampoo normally it strips your hair
and if you use garnier frutris it makes your hair retain water
(yes its possible) witch makes it take longer to dry and etc.
i learned that last time :)What is the best shampoo to use on professional hair dye?
try henna
Try Goldwell shampoo... they do have a color shampoo in brown, red or copper to maintain your haircolor without drying or destroying the hair cuticle.
I used Loreal, but makesure u buy the salon's Loreal, rather than the drugstore's loreal.
And, when you wash your hair, makesure you don't leave the shampoo on your head for too long. Usually I'll just apply the shampoo, and then quickly wash it off. You may think this way, your head won't be all that clean, but no...it is clean, don't worry
im a hair stylist.
use biolage. color care.
amazing %26lt;3
I prefer Garnier: Fructis. But that's just me.

What is the best shampoo and conditioner to make hair grow faster?
I have seen a few products online that claim to make hair grow faster. Does anyone know of a shampoo that really works and makes hair grow more quickly? What is the best shampoo and conditioner to make hair grow faster?
Time is the only thing that will make your hair grow longer. I guess if you can build a time portal...go into the future and then come back to the present you will have longer hair faster.
Anyway...the hair is always growing...it's the ends that are important. If they are consistently breaking then it will look as if your hair is not growing.
Use about a drop or two of olive oil on your ends before you flat iron, brush, or comb. Stay away from hair products that contain alcohol. What is the best shampoo and conditioner to make hair grow faster?
I never believed any kind of product would help hair grow faster, until my sons girlfriend and I started using horse shampoo about 5 months ago. We've both noticed a difference in how fast our hair grows. Also, our hair is much shinier, more manageable, and the humidity has hardly no affect on it. (We live in Louisiana where we have humidity from hell and it's made a world of difference). We use 'Rio Vista Equine Shampoo' and have only found it in pet stores. We also use the conditioner. I would definitely recommend it. It certainly made a believer out of me. Best of luck to you. : )
mane %26amp; tail shampoo and conditioner
it can be used for horses or humans. i have used it and it helped. it prevents breakage, and split ends, and it makes hair strong
they sell it at cvs, petshops, and other pharmacy.

I don't think that they really do i think thats a gimmick.
The most important thing for letting your hair grow is your diet make sure your eating healthy foods and everyones always telling onions help but i'm not sure how far that works!
Garnier makes a line called length and strength that works well- for a good price!
Hair products do not make hair grow faster.
its called ..... urine.
horse sh1t works wonders

What is the best shampoo to use to get thicker hair?
I used to have really thick hair. My senior year I found out I had lupus and lost a lot of it. I'm not bald or anything, and my lupus is in remission, but my hair is still thin. I think it runs in my family though, because my mother has very thin hair. She even has a bald spot. I'm 19 so hopfully I won't have to worry about that for awhile.
What is the best shampoo to get some of my thickness back. Is there any treatment that can make my hair grow thicker? What is the best shampoo to use to get thicker hair?
Try Nioxin products. My fiancee uses it, and her hair has gotten A LOT thicker. She had thinning hair from a hormone imbalance, and using Nioxin shampoo and conditioner has made it look thicker, and has also made some of it grow back.
It isn't cheap, but it can make a huge difference. Good luck, and stay healthy! What is the best shampoo to use to get thicker hair?

I love Biolage products. I also have/had really dry hair and those have worked the best for me.
I've also used Nexxus products and those work pretty well also.
Sidenote: drink lots of water and make sure you are getting enough vit.'s C and E. ;-)

You have to run, don't walk out and buy Mixed Chicks. Their shampoo and deep conditioner rock! And don't shampoo too often, just reapply the deep conditioner. Good luck!
Hey, i've tried the Mixed Chicks shampoo and conditioner too! The conditioner is the best ever. I would just get that. The shampoo washes good. u can also buy it at www.curlmart.com (same price). You cant find it in salons its pretty rare, i guess. there is another shampoo tht i cant think of right now.. i think its Bio something.. and its liek $12-15. nevermind someone already metnioned it. Its Biolage
Nexxus Therappe or the Suave equivalent
I think the best for you is olive oil.Its in a clear bottle and its a green apple color. Its best for dry type hair. You can get it at Style America.
You should oil your hair 2-3 hours before shampooing, and then use Dove Zero Damage Shampoo and Conditioner for Dry Hair. It's great for the ends of the hair.
I like Garnier. Use Hot Oil treatments on your hair occasionally.
Have a hippy happy, tippy tappy Tuesday (;
My mother-in-law uses Biolage. I have been using Bed Head. I also like the shampoo from the Regis Salon, they have thier own formulas. Otherwise, if you don't want a salon grade make sure if you are buying from a store switch your shampoos ever few months and that will also help since there are different chemicals in shampoos. If you switch every now and then your hair will look healthier.
I use Tresemme but you ';wash'; your hair with mayo and it will put moisture back into your hair.

Frederick Fekkai. This is the most amazing stuff on the planet! You can get it at Bath and Body Works or Amazon.com. It seems expensive, but last for quite a while and truly truly helps.

Pantene makes some good products for dry frizzy hair. They have one called Anti-Frizz. I have heard it works very well for dry and frizzy hair.
Garnier Nutrisse also makes very good products. The Moisture Works line is very good at hydrating dry hair.
I would stay away from the cheaper brands. Sometimes Suave and others work well, but can still be drying because of the high alcohol content.

What is the best shampoo for both straight and curly hair?
I have curly semi curly hair and straighten it often and sometimes I wear it curly depending on the weather. I dont want to have to buy two different kinds of shampoo and conditioners. What is the best shampoo products for both? What is the best shampoo for both straight and curly hair?
anything organic...never use the junk w/ chemicals in them:)What is the best shampoo for both straight and curly hair?
Because you straighten it and because you'll want sleek bouncy curls I'd go with a moisturizing shampoo. No need for two different shampoos or conditioners. So I'd suggest either Biolage or Kerastase. Biolage being the cheaper of the too. Biolage is sold at Target and other drug stores as well as beauty supply stores. Kerastase is sold mainly at hair salons. I have also seen it at Nordstrom Rack for alot cheaper.
Hope this helps.

What is the best shampoo system for thin hair that breaks easily?
So i have medium length thin hair and i love it, only I need to get it trimmed every other week because it breaks so quickly and it looks stringy then. What's a good shamppo/conditioner that will prevent this? What is the best shampoo system for thin hair that breaks easily?
I love the bumble and bumble shampoos! They smell so good and theres one for a lot of hair types. They are a little pricey, but worth it.

You can search around on their website and stuff, and it's sold at harmon, walgreens, and I guess any drug store.
I haven't tried it, but there's been commercials for the Panteen Beautiful Lengths Shampoo that's supposed to prevent split ends and stuff, so maybe you should try that, and it is a little cheaper

What is a good shampoo to use for guys that have longish hair?
I want it to have a good smell %26amp; i want the smell to last a while. The last shampoo i tried had a good scent, but it didnt last very long. Also, how do i keep my hair from being frizzy, I like it when its straight and shiny, not frizzy. What is a good shampoo to use for guys that have longish hair?
Ok you must believe me on this one lol i am the perfect person to ask for this particular question... I am a shampoo and conditioner fanatic... seriously, i have 45 bottles in my bathroom.
So now that you know my status lol this is what i can tell you, If you want soft, shine and smell the first thing you need to know is naturals. If you can get to a health food store, all organic natural store - thats the good stuff. There are no unneeded chemicals and they are wonderful. My favorite is the Honey and Mango tropical conditioner and shampoo by Alba.
The Bert's Bees ones are pretty good as well.
If you are not looking to go down that route, my favorite ';normal'; shampoo is herbal essences the rose thearapy one. It was one of the first to come out and i find that that was the only one that kept the smell. What is a good shampoo to use for guys that have longish hair?
garnier fructis and pantene make your hair smell good but not to girly. and about the straight and shiny.. if you have straight hair all you have to do is buy one of the girly hair tamers like biosilk or a cheaper brand. either way.. hair is hair and the weather is what usually fu(ks it up.
get control freak by bed head.
its a good shampoo and smells like gummi bears
Head and Shoulders have a range for all hair types that will help with dandruff too. Hope you find it wherever you live..

What is the best shampoo to use for naturally frizzy, curly brown hair?
My hair's not super, super curly, but its enough. My hair isn't thin and it isn't extremely thick, its somewhere in-between. I'm looking for what I can use that would make my hair the healthiest. Even its something like head and shoulders, I do get dandruff often enough. I just want to know what the best shampoo to use. Also, conditioner and how often should I condition my hair, I tend to do it every other day when I wash my hair. What is the best shampoo to use for naturally frizzy, curly brown hair?
Well, my favorite conditioner is Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle rose. I get it at Wild Oats and it is really amazing. I think you should condition your hair everyday, but you don't have to shampoo very often at all, maybe once a week. On the off days you can use your fingertips (not nails!) to scrub your scalp with a cheap conditioner like suave naturals or vo5.

Also, It has made my hair so much better since I started the curly girl method! I used to almost never wear it down (it was a frizz/poof ball), but now I have pretty, shiny curls. ~:) It鈥檚 pretty radical鈥攏o sulfates (shampoo) or silicones鈥攂ut it鈥檚 so great for curly hair. Your hair sounds like it's just like mine. I absolutely love Nexxus' Therappe and Humectress shampoo and conditioner. My hair is soft, shiny, not frizzy! and I don't get dandruff. It works just as well as the bumble and bumble line, but it costs so much less and you can get it anywhere. I too shampoo my hair every other day, but I sometimes condition it as well on the off days if my hair feels especially dry that day. Hope this helps! ^.^
I have found it doesnt really matter the shampoo but it does for the conditioner. I use Tres Semme an thicker conditioner .
In between I use silk drops such as biosilk daily ( just a dab) to finger through my hair so it gets rid of the frizzies. I do so after my hair drys from washing and daily until I wash again which is every other day.
Regis Designline Hydrate Shampoo and a different, non-volumizing conditioner should work. I use them but I have straight hair. So, I had my friend, who has hair just like yours, try it and it worked like a CHARM.
Clear or Pantene its nice you can buy it anywhere
Use something from Herbal Essence. I love that brand.

What is the best shampoo and conditioner to use?
I've used Pantene and Head and Shoulders and have been happy with them but they made my hairy oily quickly. What's a good shampoo to use? I have oily roots and dry ends. Please help! What is the best shampoo and conditioner to use?
My hair dresser told me that Pantene is crap :( I use Nioxin, which is a good all around light cleanser. I've also used Biolage, which was great. The only regular brand I'll use is Garnier Fructisse. What is the best shampoo and conditioner to use?
man i have the same problem ... you pay for quality ... something all natural ... maybe nexus ... something salon quality works good for me. but if it has to be something cheep try sunsilk
Try Biolage from the hair store. I have oily hair as well and my stylist suggested it to me. It works pretty well.
Redkin I believe also has a new line out for this.
Also Pantene has a ';Wax'; in it that will make your hair shinny but really cause a large build up. I don't suggest Pantene anything.
I have found all DOVE products are excellent and have been using them for the past 10 years. Great soap, shampoo, body lotion etc. I am 57yrs old and my hair and skin looks like a 47yr old!!! ';Look 10 years younger in 10 days'; ha ha.
Also, using Dove soap in the shower doesn't leave soap residue on the glass - easy for cleaning.
I use Mane N' Tail and love it. It makes hair really soft and shiny and it helps it grow faster. It was originally developed as horse shampoo and conditioner but when horse owners saw how nice it made their horses coats they wanted the same results and started using it on themselves. However, many people say it works really well but others have used it and hated it. Just give it a try. Tresseme and Garnier Fructis both work really well too.
Herbal Essence Drama Clean!
IT SMELLS GREAT AND MAKES YOUR HAIR NOT OILY AND NOT DRY.
ITS SOOOOOO GREAT.
Aussie Cleanse and Mend for Oily Roots and Dry Ends is good.
biosilk! its the best
conditioner makes your hair greasy really fast. i use dove cool moisture..

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for Maltese and Yorkie puppies?
i like bio groom or earth bath, oatmeal shampoos are a lot more gentle on their skin. there are specific puppy shampoos but stay away from cheap stuff like hartz. water down the shampoo as you only need it to sudds up in order for it to clean. it makes it a whole lot easier to massage into the coat and rinsing it out is easier as well. after your done bathing be sure to rinse your pup off really well with fresh water and any soap residue can irritate their skin and make them very itchyWhat is the best shampoo and conditioner for Maltese and Yorkie puppies?
I don't know much about small dogs, but I do know that bathing dogs gets rid of the natural oils in their coats which can take away the water resistant and weather resistance.
EDIT: Actually I do no what I'm talking about. And Mrs B is right, long haired dogs do get mattes easily. And if I wans't being helpful I wouldn't have told you that washing a dogs coat gets rid of the natural oils. What is the best shampoo and conditioner for Maltese and Yorkie puppies?
careful with the Maltese. They have hair....tangles very easily!!!!! Has to be brushed while drying..
I like EpiSoothe shampoo for my dogs! It leaves there coats so shiny!

What is your favorite shampoo for healthy hair?
I have a head of thick, wavy, brunette hair that could use some shine and some taming. I was wondering what your favorite brand is that you've tried, and if you think it'd work with my hair! What is your favorite shampoo for healthy hair?
Definitely RedKen or Pureology;
you will never be disappointed when it comes to those! What is your favorite shampoo for healthy hair?
It isn't the shampoo that matters... My hair is very thick and wavy/curly, and any cheap shampoo works. Just make sure you get a decent conditioner (at least three bucks) in a smoothing or repairing type. It will also help if you switch brands every time you run out because your hair grows 'immune' to brands after awhile. Don't worry, you can go back! Also, if you run a tiny bit of conditioner through it after you towel dry it (not the roots!!) it will stay smoother throughout the day.
Good luck!
garnier fructise...i have thick hair also and every time i go to the stylist to get my hair cut they always ask what shampoo i use because my hair is so healthy. they have many kinds, i would recommend Length %26amp; Strenght or Shine Burst for you and they're all cheap!!
I switch back and forth between Garnier Fruticse Length and Strength to Treseme Deep Clean..
and on days i intend on blow drying i use Neutrogena Triple Moisture Leave-in Conditioner. Makes it really really soft!!!
i like pantene. or herbal essences. Pureology is REALLY good but i do not like the smell.
Garnier Fructese (spelling?) Shine Burst
Works for my thick, stright, short brown hair!

What is the best shampoo for a dry, itchy and sore scalp please?
I have tried loads of different products over the years and nothing works very well. My scalp is flaky and itchy and at the back of my head in particular can get quite scabby! Sometimes it is so itchy,I can't stop scratching-yuk!
I have tried cheap and expensive shampoos.
My hair is highlighted so can goes bushy too with some products.
Help! What is the best shampoo for a dry, itchy and sore scalp please?
Nizoral use that 2-3 times a weekWhat is the best shampoo for a dry, itchy and sore scalp please?
Have you tried ';Head%26amp;Shoulders'; ? It works 4 me. Trust me on this I have been there myself!!!!!
Use Creme of Nature. It detangles, softens, and conditions your hair in one shot. If you wash your hair everyday, it can make your scalp very dry. Try washing it every 2 or 3 days and use some form of medicated hair grease (just once in between washings). (no it's not actual grease it just moisturizes your scalp, heals any sores, and nourishes any new growth.)
get a prescription form a dermatologist
Try some Neutrogena T-gel, if that does not help, see a dr about getting some prescription shampoo, you might have a fungus.
aussie or head and shoulders
just go consult a dermatologist! mayb if u use some products the problem will b aggrivated!
Head and shoulders has been the best I've found.
The Head and Shoulders works well and they have different remedies now.
Also try changing shampoos about once a month. I find that if I use the same one all the time the itching and dryness will start up again
Work on your Dandruff... If you have. Oiling the hair is as imp. as shampoos.......Find out the nature of ur hair and treat the problem..... don;t go after brands!!!eye

What is the best shampoo to get rid of split ends and help your hair grow?
Please help me and thankyou. What is some stuff I can do to make my hair grow? What is the best shampoo to get rid of split ends and help your hair grow?
Okay, nothing makes your hair grow, except drinking more water. to get rid of split ends you have to trim them. to keep split ends away start at the bottom and work your way up to help keep you hair nice. What is the best shampoo to get rid of split ends and help your hair grow?
The only solution for split ends is to get it trimmed regularly. Deep condition is at least once a week, twice if you have really damaged hair! I use Aussie 3 minute miracle. After you shampoo, do a quick cold water rinse to close the pores of your hair to prevent damage and avoid over brushing which will lead to breakage. Stay hydrated!
Get your ends trimmed regularly to get rid of split ends. Good shampoos would be: pantene pro-v, vive pro, hydralicious (herbal essences), and dove intense moisture. deep conditioning hair masks are good too. to help your hair grow, brushing stimulates the scalp and makes hair grow faster! hope i helped a little bit!
Pantene Pro-V (the green bottle) lol
I have really long hair, and this always helps, like always.
But i like to switch my shampoo from pantene to herbal essence from time to time, because if you use the same shampoo all the time, the effects don't work as well.
but yes pantene all the way!
a trim is the ONLY thing that will cure split ends the best way to camo the things is to put a tiny amount of olive oil on the ends of your hair and go over it with a straightening or curling iron
Use flat beer to help prevent spit ends do it once or 2 times a month put it straight on your hair, wrap it in a towel for 1 to 2 hours and rinse out. Try http://solutionsforhairgrowth.blogspot.c鈥?/a> for more remedies and details.
I don't know what will make your hair grow faster. But a jar of Cholesterol will get rid of your split ends, but it smells horrible. You can find it at wal-mart. Hot Oils work good, too.
you can not fix split ends.. you have to just cut them off.. try getting a trim and doing this often.. it will help
Shampoo alone will not help. Use conditioner too after shampoo.
hmm maybe a cut them use pantene pro v
i think the Aussie 3 minute miracle contintioner
dove intense moisture!

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for highlighted dry hair?
It seems that all the shampoos for blonde hair only mention that they keep your colour from fading etc but I want one that keeps colour vibrant AND keeps hair soft and prevents it from drying out.
Are there any anybody could recommend that does both these things?
Thanks! What is the best shampoo and conditioner for highlighted dry hair?
Pantein, moister renewal.
Hope it helps! :DWhat is the best shampoo and conditioner for highlighted dry hair?
The best thing to do for highlighted hair is use a deep conditioner by l'oreal or kerestase, which are specially formulated for coloured hair - this will help dry hair from becoming frazzeled and, well, dry! Then use a anti-brassiness shampoo once a week to keep the highlights looking a natural blonde colour rather than orange. I would then use the John Frieda Sheer blonde colour protect shampoo and condtioner for all your other in between washes.
Hi there why dont u try Lumino Contrast Nutriceride Shampoo or Life Tex Color Protection Shampoo they have got the solution for ur answer.. if u looking to buy u can buy them online @

What is a good shampoo for rats or an alternative?
What would be a good and safe way to bathe my rats? I only scrub them in warm water but I think I might need some kind of shampoo stuff because of my male rats. They sometimes smell really bad. What can I use? What is a good shampoo for rats or an alternative?
Dilute some Dawn dish washing detergent. Doesnt take much.
It will remove the oily substance that they have on thier fur. (which is normal for male rats)
Maybe a drop or two in a cup of water, just enough to work up a little lather. I wouldnt wash his head, you dont want to risk getting it in his eyes.
Make sure you rinse it all off well. What is a good shampoo for rats or an alternative?
You can use any cat shampoo or even baby or children's' shampoo, as long as it's a tear-less type formula. That's what I use, and it works great.
Per my vets suggestion, I use tear-free baby shampoo for my rats, and I wipe them with baby wipes between baths.

How well does purple shampoo work to get rid of yellow blonde highlights?
I went with two shades of blonde highlights. I like the ';white'; blonde one the best. The other blonde looks too yellow on me. I am pale and have cool undertones such as blue eyes. So the lighter, whiter, cooler blondes look best with my skin tone.
How well does the purple shampoos work to get rid of the yellowness in the blonde??How well does purple shampoo work to get rid of yellow blonde highlights?
They wrk very well over time, but be careful...they will build up on some of the highlights that you do like...making them look grey-ish. Use it for a few days in a row, then use your regular shampoo. Use it once a week for maintnence. How well does purple shampoo work to get rid of yellow blonde highlights?
I use Shimmer Lights by Clairol, it's pretty good. It basically cancels out the yellow because purple is opposite yellow on the color wheel.eye

Where do I find shampoo for ringworm for a kitten?
Is it something you can just buy in a store? Vet prescribed liquid oral ketoconazole but I want to make sure the spores are out of her fur too. She is only about 4 months old. Is there shampoo OTC anywhere?Where do I find shampoo for ringworm for a kitten?
Go to a website called; jefferspet.com. They have all kinds of things you might need. They will mail it to you.Where do I find shampoo for ringworm for a kitten?
I bought mine from the Vet, but later I found one at the drug store. Just look for a shampoo that has ketoconazole in it. It will most likely be dandruff shampoo and be 1%. What you get from the vet would be 2%. If your kitty is taking meds and you just want to get the spores out of her fur the 1% should work. Even ask the pharmacist.
I bought antifungal shampoo right from the vet; they had me bathe the kittens twice a week while they had the ringworm in addition to the lotion medication. This is the brand they sold me: http://www.lambertvetsupply.com/Malaseb-鈥?/a>
They were about 4 months at the time as well, so it should be safe for yours.
Your vet should give you an anti-fungal cream or pill for your cat to take. I'm not sure a shampoo will do the trick...
You can probably purchase Malaseb shampoo from your Vet...it's antibacterial and antifungal....try google and see who else carries it. Good luck!
Buy a tube of Desenex -- miconizole nitrate. The same stuff you use for athlete's foot, which like ringworm, is a fungus. Put a little bit of it into each of her ringworm lesions, and rub it in so she doesn't lick it off. It won't hurt her, but you want the med in the lesion.
Do not rub it into her fur, though, as she really could ingest too much of it this way. And that is the problem with a shampoo, if there is one. Whatever you wash a cat with will be ingested by them when they lick themselves dry, and since you don't know how much if any trouble that will cause her, it's best to err on the conservative side, and just stick with what the vet gave you.
Ringworm can be a problem if you have more than one cat, but with just one, it's really pretty easy to get rid of. I worked with cat rescue groups here in NYC, and we just used Desenex to get rid of the ringworm. Works like a charm. Just stick with your vet med and maybe pick up a tube of Desenex, but don't go into overkill mode, or you may wind up hurting this finally very young animal.

Ring worm is a fungus rather than a worm. Use any anti-fungal cream as directed on the box.
Go to a website called; jefferspet.com. They have all kinds of things you might need. They will mail it to you.Where do I find shampoo for ringworm for a kitten?

How long is shampoo and conditioner good for?
I bought some high end shampoo and conditioner at Target. The brand is Umberto. It was marked down to less than $2. The orignal price was $5.99. When I opened the bottle the shampoo was fine but the conditioner is really thick. I have been using for a week now and my neck is breaking out in red rash. Should I stop using? Why I am breaking out?How long is shampoo and conditioner good for?
If you still have the receipt, return it to the store. You can do that if you're allergic to it. Umberto probably went on clearance because they were no longer going to carry that, and resetting with higher-end salon products. You can return 2 items a year without a receipt, but Target has to still have the item on file in the store if you don't have a receipt. (I work at the service desk at a Target store.) :) Hope that helps! How long is shampoo and conditioner good for?
i would advise you to stop it, why do you want to use conditioners as they spoil the hair, if used excess... try home conditioners like curd and lemon, apply it ... it is good also you can apply egg, or even beer- if you have any left out in the party they are good conditioners.. try it
you may be allergic. stop using it, and if the rash doesnt go away, contact your doctor.
High end shampoo %26amp; conditioners go for around $80 to $200 a bottle. What you bought was a cheap product marked down even cheaper %26amp; Target still made a profit.
First rule of thumb.....ANYthing that gives you a red rash....STOP using it immediately!!!!!!!!
Shampoos and conditioners don't really have an expiration date....but the fact that the conditioner made you break out in a rash........not good...
Try Pantene Winter Rescue....its great!

What kind of shampoo can I use on puppy after applying advantage the previous week?
He's a small dog and seems to need a bath once a week, but this seems to wash too much of the advantage off and he has fleas again within a couple weeks. What kind of shampoo can I use on puppy after applying advantage the previous week?
Advantage is ';losing it's edge'; for killing fleas. They're becoming immune to it.
Change flea meds. Try Frontline or Revolution. (you need a heartworm test for Revolution).
Advantage needs to ';set'; for 2 days. After that, it's gone into the dog's system and you can wash the dog as much as you want. What kind of shampoo can I use on puppy after applying advantage the previous week?
The advantage is absorbed into the skin in about three days, so washing him isn't going to have any effect on the advantage. Make sure you use a flea and tick product that kills both the adults and the eggs or larva. If you are using something that only kills the adults, that is why he has them again so soon. Try Advantix which kills both the adults and the eggs. Also be sure that your house is flea free by setting off some flea bombs in the house to kill them or get a professional exterminator in to do the house and surrounding areas outside.
I always you Harte tearless shampoo for puppies. You can buy it at Wal-mart or if you live at Ausltrailia the Big W (I know about Aussi places because its where my sister lives)I've also seen it at many pet stores and at some vet's.
Hope I helped you and your dog!
You shouldn't bathe dogs once a week unless you have a very good reason and a very gentle shampoo. Over bathing dries their skin out really badly. Once advantage soaks in, it should be water proof and the way it works is it kills the fleas that bite the dog.
Tropiclean it a non soap based shampoo...Some dogs shampoos start off with a soap base this will wash off the flea medication..You may want to think about getting frontline pluss it's water prof
Johnson's baby shampoo - i have a small puppy too and was told by the breeder to use this.

How is Arbonne shampoo different from Pantene or any others that I buy over the counter?
What's so special about Arbonne products in general? How is Arbonne shampoo different from Pantene or any others that I buy over the counter?
I love Arbonnes shampoo. All 5 of us use it in our family. It's the ingredients that make Arbonnes products so different. It doesn't lather or have that flower smell that so many shampoos do, but I can tell you I don't have build up, my hair is shinny and healthy.

http://www.gleamingskin.myarbonne.comHow is Arbonne shampoo different from Pantene or any others that I buy over the counter?
The Main difference is in the quality of ingredients
Pantene is very cheap and so expect cheap ingredients, chemically laden and in cosmetology terms about the same as washing your hair with laundry detergent.
This is from the Arbonne website
The idea to provide skin care products unparalleled in quality and effectiveness developed in Switzerland in 1975, when one man, Petter M酶rck, together with a group of leading bio-chemists, biologists and herbalists, fulfilled his vision and founded Arbonne.
Arbonne's skin care products, based on botanical principles, became a reality in the United States in 1980 and are now shared throughout the world through Arbonne's network of Independent Consultants. Building on these same founding principles, Arbonne's product line has since grown to include both inner and outer health and beauty products that are unparalleled in quality, safety, value, benefits and results!
The wonderful thing about Arbonne is that it's not just about great products, it's also about great people. The Arbonne family is made up of thousands of individuals working to make their dreams come true. Through sales incentives and rewards, travel opportunities, a generous SuccessPlan and great products, Arbonne offers a unique opportunity that can help make anyone's vision for the future a reality.

What type of shampoo and conditioner is good for very fine hair?
I'm looking for a shampoo and conditioner line that is good for fine hair. I need more volume. I dont want anything 2 greasy for my hair or something that is gonna cost me much money. What type of shampoo and conditioner is good for very fine hair?
i have fine hair, and i use Fructis for fine hair..i love itWhat type of shampoo and conditioner is good for very fine hair?
I love Paul Mitchell Lemon Sage Thickening Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner. Its non greasy and it is just the best stuff i have ever used to give my hair more volume and it doesnt dry it out. My hair is baby fine and never holds a curl all day but once i purchased this shampoo and conditioner its made a world of difference. After I use the shampoo and conditioner I use Paul Mitchell ';Thicken Up'; I use 4 pumps and run i through my hair while its still wet and then i blow dry it. Make sure to get your roots and i wouldnt use more than 4 pumps. The great thing about thicken up is it also protects your hair from UV damage and it really doesnt feel like you have a lot of product in your hair. I usually finish with paul mitchell ';super clean extra'; hair spray, its an aeresol i really dont like spritz. All of this is sold only in salons. I hope you try it, its so worth it.
Try the AMPLIFY line. I think it's from Matrix, but you can find it in salons and beauty supply stores... Love their root lifting spray!!
The main thing is to not use conditioner. At least not everyday. It weighs hair down. Turn you head upside down when drying it with a blow dryer.
aussie works well and is not expensive and smells good.
I would suggest Purology because it makes fine thin hair into thick-looking and shining clean with glamourous beauty style!
Redken Fat Cat Shampoo and conditioner
I've used several types of shampoo -I have VERY fine hair, but a lot of it.
Pantene 'smooth and silky' is the best - you can buy generic version, which is cheaper, and works great. I usually have to use quite a bit of conditioner, so I'll go through 2 bottles of conditioner before I finish 1 bottle of shampoo.
Fructis was too drying - my hair felt like straw, and was very rough in texture, and broke like crazy.
Everytime I've switched to something else, I hated the way my hair felt!eye

What's the difference between dry shampoo and normal shampoo?
Like can you use both at the same time? What's the difference between dry shampoo and normal shampoo?
i guess you can use both at the same time. dry shampoo is if you don't like get in the shower and normal shampoo is if you like get into the shower and take the time to wet your hair and all that stuff. hope i answered you question. What's the difference between dry shampoo and normal shampoo?
Dry shampoo is for when your hair is feeling really oily and you don't have time to wash it so you spray some on your roots and it absorbs the oil. Regular shampoo is for use in the shower for when you wash your hair.
You usually use dry shampoo in between washes to soak up the oil that builds up by the scalp.
I would assume that you could use both at the same time, but I don't exactly see why.
that would defeat the purpose. dry shampoo soaks up oil from your hair and cleans it while regular shampoo just cleans it.

What make of shampoo is good to make hair fluffy?
My hair is soft and flat. Also the amount of my hair isn't much.
I have been always trying to make my hair fluffy.
Any recommandable makes of shampoo which make hair fluffy? Both cheap and expensive ones are OK.
Thanks! What make of shampoo is good to make hair fluffy?
Treseme, I don't really use it but it does make you're hair soft and fluffy more than any other i've noticed! What make of shampoo is good to make hair fluffy?
Depends on your hair, baby shompoo works for me.
Pantene Pro-V
Garnier Frutis,voluminizing shampoo.Its great.
MOP Glisten shampoo %26amp; conditioner
the best!!
Baby shampoo is good for making the hair really fluffy if that's the look you want, but not very good for adult hair apparently. Otherwise try Paul Mitchell Shampoo One and wash your hair every day. Its good stuff and not too expensive if you buy the really large sizes (500ml or 1litre).
Any shampoo that say it adds volume, the expensive ones are better like 'charles worthington' These ones are great and smell good too.
Pantene is quite good and the price of them is more reasonable oh and herbal essences!
Good luck xx
Hi - Sunsilk do a volumising shampoo which is good. or Charles Worthington xx
I use the aussie brand volumising one - I wouldn't say it makes my hair fluffy but noticeabbly thicker. Try not to weigh it down with too much conditioner, that makes your hair appear flatter. Blow drying with a round brush under your hair and blow drying upside down help.
Treseme i love it i have fine hair and it really helps. Also try volumnising products and blow dry your hair. Hope that helps. x
You could try baby shampoo, it always makes my little ones hair go all soft and fluffy!
I use Johnsons baby shampoo its about 拢2.50 a bottle.
Aloe vera helps thicken the hair. I think it's also in the styling, the next time you blow dry your hair, flip your head upside down to get more volume.

What is the best shampoo and conditioner?
My hair is pretty long and I want it to be really soft and shiny. I've used a lot of shampoos and conditioners, but none of them seem to work the way I imagine it. Please help! What is the best shampoo and conditioner?
I had a reaction to some medicine and my hair started to fall out slightly. I researched on-line and judged the best shampoos and conditioners to be anything that is organic/natural, like ';Jason';. Most websites against multi-national products alerted the reader to the dangers of a chemical found in them: Polymethacrylamidopropyltrimonium
Urban Dictionary claims it is no longer in use, yet it's listed on all my old shampoo bottles. And regular cosmetic sites refer to it and its ';usefulness';. There are many organic shampoos you can purchase in drug or department stores. Try one of them for a change. What is the best shampoo and conditioner?
herbal essences
no doubt
I use Biolage and love it
The absolute best is Organix. It has organic active ingredients and is sulfate free so it wont dry out your hair, plus...it smells awesome!!! Organix has different collections for different hair types which are all amazing. You can get Organix at Target, CVS, Walgreens, Safeway, Duane Reade, Wal-Mart, etc. You'll love it!!!

Hair is not alive. ANY shampoo will clean your hair. Conditioner is another story. Try some cheap stuff and see how that works. Chances are you don't have to spend a fortune to get the results you're looking for.
i like herbal essences it makes my hair smell good and healthy
I use tresemme. You find whcih kind is right for you, because there are many kinds like for dry or damaged hair or smooth and silky etc. I use smooth and silky shampoo and conditioner and it keeps my hair soft and no frizz throughout the day ( i also you the de-frizz hair spray or whatever)... hope this helped. Here's the website: http://www.tresemme.com/hair-solutions/h鈥?/a>
Well, I use tresemme, a bit cheap and I love it.
I hope it works.
:D
Vive Pro, absolutely.
Get the one in the light pink bottle, that says ';cashmere touch'; somewhere on it. It has absolutely transformed my hair. I use the one for damaged hair, but there's also specific ones for curly hair, thin hair, etc.
Seriously. Go get it right now, it's fantastic. Vive Pro, pink bottle!
the best ones ive tried are
Frederick Fekkai
and
Tigi S factor
theyre both pricey.. around $30 bucks a pop.
you can get them on ebay cheaper and in bundles.
pantene pro-v in green or red style i use it , it works
perfctly great

What brand of shampoo and conditioner is good for long curly hair?
I have long curly red hair. My problem is that my hair suffers many problems because of the Florida heat. It is always frizzy and dried out. I wash my hair everyday because I am very active. Does anyone know a good brand of hair products that can keep my hair healthy, shiny, and under control? Thank you. What brand of shampoo and conditioner is good for long curly hair?
its all about an all round routine. just using a good shampoo and conditioner isnt good enough, although its a great start. using alot of shampoo can really kill curls and make frizz crazy coz there are so many chemicals. so if you do shampoo every day, always follow with not only a conditioner but a treatment inbetween the two. Garnier Fructis Dry hair moisturising mask is great and comes in a tub thatll last about 3 weeks or longer depending on how much you use it. this is an every second day estimate.
KMS Curl Up is pretty good about 25 bucks a bottle, but its good. for a cheaper less chemically enhanced alternative that works really well, find a shampoo and conditioner with lots of coconut extracts in it. even if its 100% coconut extracts! even better! curls eat up the moisture. whatever you use, make sure its thick and creamy and rich in moisture. When you get out of the shower DO NOT towl dry your hair like a hurried buffalo! no vigorous rubbing as this will frizz your hair immediately even if your using the best shamp and cond ever! instead, wring out your hair best you can, then get your towel and squeeze and blot the hair till its towel dryed. Then get your favourite products.... i like to use a heat defense curl booster. Redken is the best if you want to spend alot of money, but there are good cheaper alternatives too... i change mine depending on my budget, and my hair likes that anyway, otherwise it adapts to the product and doesnt work as well. spray that liberally through your squeezed/blotted hair along with a smoothing shining serum, garnier fructis again are good inexpensive brand for this product. then put your hair in your towel while you do your makeup or get changed, to give your hair the chance to soak up the product and warm your head up which makes the scalp accept the product better too. then, if you cant let it air dry with a little mousse, then use a diffuser on your hairdryer and keeping the dryer moving constantly, lightly blow dry till dry. never use a hairdryer without a diffuser your curls will be horrible and distressed.
cared for curls are happy curls and they will look absolutely beautiful. take the time to pamper them and you will get soooo many complements you will never envy straight hair again! What brand of shampoo and conditioner is good for long curly hair?
i have the same problem. It is best for you to invest in the more expensive shampoos and conditioners. Nexus makes a Therapy with moisturizing, and a Humectress Conditioner that you can leave in and it will weigh your hair down a little to help with fly away hair. There is also BedHead Oatmeal, and Bio Silk Silk Therapy Smoothing Serum, or Chi's Silk Infusion .
Regular store bough over the counter shampoos and conditioners have quiet a bit of alcohol in them which dries the hair out and cause frizz. And red head like us do not need any help from alcohol because our hair is so course ne way.
Just recently I was at the beach and decided to wear a bandanna so the sun would fry my hair, and I kept a wash out conditioner in my hair w/o rinsing or drying it, and the sun acted as a heating element which moisturized my hair.
bedhead/catwalk curls rock shampoo, conditioner, styleing products..this line is sooooooooooo awsome...it makes your curls pop!!! i love it!!! go to trade secret or jc pennys or sears or any solon that sells products and get it..DONT BUT IT FROM SUPER MARKETS OR DRUG STORES THEY ARENT SUPPOSE TO SELL PROFESSIONAL HAIR PRODUCTS BUT THEY DO AND THEY ARENT THE REAL DEAL

What shampoo that can grow hair faster than ordinary shampoos?
i have problems with my hair. it grows very slow... not like those of my friends.. can you pls recommend a shampoo that you have used and proven to grow hair faster?? :-( pls. do tell me... i really miss having long hair... What shampoo that can grow hair faster than ordinary shampoos?
sorry, if it were that simple it would be easy!
if you miss long hair maybe try extensions?
or just eat proteins etc. which will make your hair healthy and maybe grow a little faster. you can't put anything on your hair to make it grow faster because it is the root of the hair (beneath the skin) which is encouraging the growth, all the hair we can see is dead. What shampoo that can grow hair faster than ordinary shampoos?

What kind of shampoo makes an 11 year old have straight hair?
My 11 year old daughter has really curly hair, and she said she wants it really straight. She always uses straightening iron, but I heard it damages your hair. What kind of shampoo and conditioner makes a kid's hair go straight? What kind of shampoo makes an 11 year old have straight hair?
impossible unless you use harsh chemicals( i doubt you want to) And no shampoo and conditioner is going to do that! Tell your daughter to except her curly hair! :DWhat kind of shampoo makes an 11 year old have straight hair?
ive used ';straighten up'; by sunsilk shampoo and conditioner. its purple. then there is a cream that is the same brand/line and you put it in ur hair when its damp then blow dry straight with a really big round brush. maybe run a straightener over it a little on low heat if its still a big poofy. straighteners dont do ur hair any good but as long as you trim it often and don't do it every day its the same or less damaging than a curling iron.
i like the Bed Head products cause they work really well and they have a straight hair one but they are pretty expensive

How do different shampoo and conditioners work?
There are differing shampoos for curly hair, colour, non-frizzy in one brand. But they all seem to have the same ingredients. Are they the same formulation %26amp; just called something different, or is there some scientific back up to there claims??How do different shampoo and conditioners work?
There is a difference in professional salon hair care product - not so much with supermarket/high street brands.
The list of shampoos for hair/scalp types is endless but here is a few for examples %26amp; reasons why they are different. As a whole it will tend to be certain KEY ingredients. Many will be the same as all shampoos, except natural products will use a similar formula to make there product lathers, smell, shine, preserve the product, colour - alot of which are cosmetic and just for show - a shampoo that lathers more is not necessarily getting your hair any cleaner
Kerastase Bain Apres Soleil Summer Shampoo.
TECHNOLOGY
Photo-Défense Filter: Provides active protection against both UVA and UVB rays.
PHYTOBRUSH for frizzy hair
TECHNOLOGY
Smoothing shampoo by Phyto, specially formulated to facilitate blow-drying and extend hold for permed or overly frizzy hair. A protein complex derived from wheat, with nourishing action, adheres to the porous and damaged parts of the hair to help restore its radiance and silky softness without weighing it down. Rich in vitamins and sugar, Acacia honey strengthens and softens hair, and provides it with a non-rigid hold.
PHYTOCYANE shampoo for hair loss
TECHNOLOGY
fortifies the hair (Cinchona bark decoction, Provitamin B5, Vitamin B6) and provides anti-aging action (Grapeseed Procyanidins and Ginkgo Biloba). Density and shine are restored to your hair.
GHD Nuture Shampoo for weak damaged hair
TECHNOLOGY
Intensive therapy for improving the condition of weak, damaged and chemically treated hair. Its superior strengthening ingredient penetrates deep, building in strength and resistance to breakage. Contains UVA protection. Ideal on hair that has been chemically damaged, highlighted or bleached.
PHYTOAPAISANT for sensitive scalps
TECHNOLOGY
Regulates the cutaneous flora, thanks to an exclusive natural compound: Phytolactine®, a synergy of active ingredients derived from Hay, Wood, Bran and Milk. It restores the scalp’s dermal “shield”.How do different shampoo and conditioners work?
pretty much all shampoos and conditoners u get from the store are practically the same, its the after care which makes a different such as blow drying it, scrunching it, straighting it, just depends.
Kait is correct.

Try Dove as it has extra moisture in it and you should really change your shampoos every time it runs out dont keep going for the same one, its bad for your hair. x
good question. i think some just dries your hair more.

What type pf shampoo is good for damaged hair?
I straighten my hair alot, susally 5 or more times a week, and I have a lot of breakage and split ends. I use Garnier Fructis sleek and shine shampoo, and it makes my hair really nice and soft, but I still have damage. What type pf shampoo is good for damaged hair?
stay away from pantene! that will damage u more...
dove would probably be ure best best but it will take time, the damage doesnt usually just happens at once, it accumulates over time...so it will take time to fix it
my reccomendation is get the dove shampoo, use it for a whole month (just that one, no others or mixing shampoos)
also, get a trim it will lighten ure hair and might get rid of some dead and split endsWhat type pf shampoo is good for damaged hair?
pantene restoratives....works great!
omg wow. i was just in the same EXACT situation. same shampoo and everything lol
:]
anyways what i did was i got a haircut (it really helps to get rid of all the damaged hair-or at least most of them as possible, go to a professional and tell them your situation).
then i bought a shampoo brand called 'herbal essences' -ask your hair styliest to recommend one to you
also do you know why you were straightening your hair? like if it was because it was frizzy get a product that makes it less frizzy. i got this thing from the brand Frizz-Ease its really really good.
but if it was because you just like it straight..sorry but i think you will have to accept your hair. unless there is a straightening product i dont know about thats how it is :[
good luck!!

What kind of shampoo is the least damaging to hair?
I do a lot to my hair, like blow dry it, curl it and straighten it, and it's kinda starting to show damage now. It hasn't gone to hell or anything yet, but I was just curious what shampoo wouldn't be damaging and would maybe help it heal a little.
Thanks. What kind of shampoo is the least damaging to hair?
I would suggest using Pantene. It makes your hair smooth and silky. :)
I would also suggest:
*letting your hair dry naturally, instead of blowdrying
*keeping curling/straightening to a minimum.
:)What kind of shampoo is the least damaging to hair?
Try Lush shampoo bars! They are all natural and helps if you are only trying to wash the scalp and the roots. Which is all that really needs to be washed, anyways. It helped my hair so much when it was starting to show damaged from bleaching and countless dye jobs.
try Tresemme thermal recovery shampoo and conditioner, it recovers your hair and prepares ibreakagerakage, its what i use and its fabulous and it makes your hair smell great.
I make my own shampoo and conditioner it works great my hair you should come up for your own recipe

Shampoo...?
Seriously, wich shampoo do you all use that gets ur hair really straight and smoothes most or all of the flyaways?Shampoo...?
No shampoo/conditioner will make your hair straight, it makes it easier to keep straight after styling.
Try Paul Mitchell Super Skinny.Shampoo...?
hmmm i usually use pantene but if i know im going to blow dry or straighten my hair then i use thermasilk..i only use this shampoo if im going to blow dry or straighten because it is heat activated i guess (to make ur hair silky)
Try Matrix Sleek and Shine--it's in a bright orange bottle. Also, consider purchasing a flat iron--using some shine spray on your hair before running the iron through it. It makes it shiny obviously, but also helps prevent some of the damage.
Watch out for Pantene Pro V and smiliar items that promise your hair shiny like the commercial within weeks. You will see shine, but it's because they put so many waxy substances in there that is leaves your hair feeling gross and unhealthy ironically.
shampoo doesn't make your hair straight but dove shampoo works
sunsilk (purple) and or ganier sleek n shine

Shampoo....?
This is kind of a weird question, but is there any kind of stuff that you can put in your hair to make it smell really good, or maybe a certain kind of shampoo. the shampoo i use smells good, but the good smell like washes out or something..cuz i cant smell it like the next morning..Shampoo....?
Maybe wash your hair in the morning instead of at night?Shampoo....?

hahaha. not a stupid question at all!
the shampoo that i use is Herbal Essences ';Drama Clean'; and it's in a green bottle. it smells AMAZING!
i shower at night and i had the same problem...but not with herbal essences! check out their other scents too. my favorite is the ';hello hydration'; which comes in a blue bottle.
it still smells but you have become accustomed to the smell do you are used to it [like how you can't taste your toungue, etc.]
other people can probably smell it.
SUNSILK Smells really good Hope this helps!!
something like this should do the trick:

i use this and it smells fabulous, and it protects your hair!
I use pantene and a dove conditioner. Smells sooo Good! :)
use pantene products o my goodness it smells so good!
Most overly perfumed shampoos are bad for your hair anyway. If you want your hair to smell good you can use a body spray on your hair... or spray it at the nape of the neck...
matrix brands usually keeps the smell in after using them a couple of times. Keep in mind ur smelling ur hair even when u dont realize it and if ur used to the smell ur not gonna notice it like others will. I can usually tell a client what shampoo they use when I am shampooing them at work. Ask ur friends to smell ur hair before changing what u like.
hmm..i use herbal essences..make sure you use it twice..i got mine at walmart at like 2-3 dollars and it was shampoo and conditional in one so it was a good deal...
well..i bet the good smell lasts only for about a day or so..so i guess you need to reaply it..idk..that never really happened to me..
