Is there any shampoo that is safe to use on a rabbit? I know they have very sensative skin so I don't want to use just anything on her, but she gets really dirty from her fruits and veggies she eats.Shampoo!?!?
Yes! Use the Johnson and Johnson baby bath. It it hypo-allergenic and safe on all skin. It is so mild, and will be fine for your rabbit.Shampoo!?!?
Daphne is such a beautiful name for a rabbit! Give her a (very soft) hug for me :-) Report Abuse
any shampoo that is for the hare oops i mean hair.
they make shampoo for rabbits. there is a soapy type of shampoo and there is a dry powdery type of shampoo. I suggest going to PETCO.com and reading up on the shampoos.
yes
you can use shampoo used on kittens,or a natural oatmeal shampoo.
ask your vet or a local pet store what would be best for your rabbit.
baby shampoo can work but u can also go to walmart or somewhere where they have pet supplies and see wat they got or go to a pet store and get something there or ask them wat kind of shampoo u should use.
baby shampoo
You should visit a pet store. They will tell you what kind of shampoo you can use on the bunny.
go to your local pet store and ask for rabbit shampoo or go to
http://petsmart.com
Get chincilla dust, put in a container and see if the rabbit will use it, often they will.. I don't think you should actually bathe a rabbit unless they have special shampoo for them. They have special oils in their coat you could wash away.
buy rabbit shampoo, or just use your own on her, it wont hurt her but it will make her smell good, dont forget the conditioner too, to make her fur soft too!
You should first let the vet examine your rabbit to make sure that he or she can receive a bath. Some rabbits can get fleas and ticks just like dogs and cats do. Then after your vet examines your rabbit, ask him or her what kind of bathing you could give this rabbit. If your vet doesn't know, then go to a pet shop that sells rabbits and ask them. Or you could go on the web and google rabbit shampoo and see if you got any answers. Good luck! Animals are wonderful companions and friends to have our whole life long!
I'd try Johnson's Baby shampoo. Seriously! Also you could look at Petco or a big petstore. They might have shampoo specifically for rabbits. :)
Get bunny shampoo
go to a pet store or use baby shampoo
use baby shampoo it is sooo gentle!
try the vet or the pet store
maybe try bakeing soda.
Just rub the baking soda on and be sure to rub into the coat. Let set a few minutes and brush off! The smells will be all gone, and you don't need to get all wet!
... you can get a rabbit washer cheap @ Walmart.com ...
